Bishop John Parkes
I have been the Executive Assistant to the CEO for the past four years with my role changing from 1 June 2016 to included the newly formed role of Independent Living Services Manager. My aim is to provide a presence around the Terraces and Self-Care units and a reliable avenue for concerns to be addressed in a timely way. Most of the Terrace and Self-Care residents love living at St. John’s and I hope to be able to facilitate their continued enjoyment.
I am excited to be leading the development of the St. John’s Academy registered training organisation, where we are able to further develop St. John’s Village services, both locally and Nationally through training, educating and upskilling a dynamic workforce for the future of the aged care community sectors.
I have been employed at St. Johns Village for eight years during which time my role has evolved from Team Leader to Environmental Services Manager. Working at St. John’s has provided many challenges and great rewards working with the Residents, their families and my colleagues.
