“As residents of St. John’s Village Terrace since 2006 we would like to say that it was the best move we could have ever have made. The units are well designed and built, the area is quiet and we feel very safe. The amenities such as the hall and bowling green are excellent and there are many activities to do. The management team are very caring and go out of their way to make life easy for residents. The outdoor staff are courteous and obliging and attend to any request promptly and efficiently. We are proud to be members of the St. John’s Village family and have no hesitations in recommending St. John’s Village to anyone interested”.

Shirley and Neil, Residents.

We moved to The Terrace 6 years ago after living most of our lives in Melbourne. We are delighted that we chose to live at this particular retirement village.   We have made many friends and really enjoy the atmosphere, the friendship and the security.  Living here allows us to travel at our leisure without having to worry about our home or garden as well as being able to spend time enjoying activities in the Wangaratta area. We are able to join in any of the many activities offered at the community hall.  The unit itself (3 bedrooms and a larger than normal double garage), suits our needs and is light and airy.  A very pleasant place for us to live.  We are very happy here and are delighted that we made this move when we were young enough to be able to enjoy the life we have in this lovely, peaceful setting”.

Ray and Kathie

“I have lived at St. John’s Terrace for over 18 years after moving off our farm, and have enjoyed it immensely. My unit is great – compact and easy to maintain. Last year St. John’s refurbished it with new carpets, lino, extra drawers and painted throughout. It is once again like a new unit. All done at no expense to me. Living here in the Terrace I am able to join in as many of the activities provided in our hall as well as still being involved in activities in the wider community. I have made many friends who also live in the Terrace and have travelled widely in Australia, with some whom I would not have met if living elsewhere. Not having to worry about the cost of repairs to oven, stove, split-system, hot water service, spouting and outside painting has been great financially. When the time comes that I can no longer drive, there is a regular bus service that goes past the Terrace.”
