As a caring arm of the Wangaratta Anglican Diocese, a chaplaincy service is available to all St. John’s Village residents. Weekly chapel services are held, as well as other ecumenical services and people of all denominations are most welcome to attend. In addition, staff will always assist residents with any other cultural or religious requirements.
A Chaplain is available to provide Pastoral care to all residents and staff of St. John’s Village. The Chaplain holds special Christian services and national memorial day services so that residents can attend and participate in special Christian events during the year.
Hear at St. John’s we are blessed with having two Anglican Chaplains, Archdeacon Alan Jarrad and Farther Scott Jessup, Farther Michael from the Wangaratta Catholic Parish frequently joins us along with Farther Novi and Father Joseph.
Ground & Environment
Our grounds and maintenance staff consist of five friendly and dedicated people committed to providing beautifully maintained gardens and grounds for the enjoyment of all our residents and their families.
Whether it be sitting amongst the roses, strolling through the grounds or exploring our wetlands area with its creek side setting, St. John’s Village, with its rural outlook to the Warby Ranges , has plenty to offer for those who enjoy being out doors.
Transport – The Wangaratta city bus service with low level floor pick up stops at St. John’s Village in Williams Road and Christensen Lane. Sedan and wheelchair taxis are also available.
