Vaccination at St. John’s – There has been an excellent uptake of the flu wax program and we are happy to report that we have reached our target of 85% of all nursing staff. We acknowledge the great effort of our staff in achieving this important goal.
The next immunisation clinic is scheduled for Friday, 3 August 2018.
St. John’s all inclusive Vaccination Program a great success for all
Volunteers, allied health workers, contractors, maintenance staff, all Vision Foods staff and agency staff took up the opportunity for vaccination through the St. John’s Village all inclusive program. Additionally an amazing 60 people from the Independent Living Units have taken part in the program to date.
Mandatory Flu VAX Research
Leading the way in the professional approach to risk management and vaccination at St. John’s Village, Paul Mac Donald, Facility Manager, has recently taken part in a research study being conducted by C Raina MacIntyre, Professor of Global Biosecurity, NHMRC Principal Research Fellow, Head, Biosecurity Program, UNSW and Holly Seale, Senior Lecturer, UNSW (University of NSW).
